Pelagian DCCCR MK2 is here!

The Pelagian DCCCR is one of the narrowest closed circuit rebreathers available. With proper training and sufficient bailout, wreck penetration should not be a problem. The stainless steel mounting plate follow the contours of a standard back plate, allowing the weight of the cylinders closer to your back which gives better balance and over all streamlining. As there is no cover, any cylinder size from 1,8 - 11 liters can be used. The rebreather only extends 144 mm from the divers back plate, even if aluminium 80 cu. ft. (11 L) cylinders are used. Scrubber and cylinders are attached with individual cam bands making assembly and disassembly a 3-minute job. The whole unit, less cylinders, passes the airline hand carry restrictions. All plumbing are standard inflator and LP hoses. No tools are needed for assembly. To calibrate the sensor displays, you need a small hex key and flat head screw driver. The weight of the unit with full scrubber, two full 2,7 liter, (19 cft), cylinders, but no BCD is 20 kg. The weight of the unit as you would travel with it, i.e without cylinders and with an empty scrubber, is 9,5 kg.
